Determination of Particle Size Distribution of Titanium Dioxide

Abstrakt

Particle size distribution measurements of titanium dioxide with atanase and rutile crystal structures have been presented. The measurements were carried out with the Sedigraph ET 5000 apparatus and the disk centrifuge BI-XDC. Statistical evaluation of the results was performed for particle portions up to l micron and the mean particle size d50. This evaluation substantiates a good agreement between the data obtained by both instruments.
