Optimum conditions are described for the determination of genotoxic 3-nitrofluoranthene (3-NF) and pendimethalin using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The limits of quantification (LQ) around 4×10-7 mol L-1 were found for both the materials. In addition, adsorptive stripping voltammetry was used for determination of 3-NF with LQ around 3×10-8 mol L-1. The practical applicability of newly developed methods was demonstrated on direct determination of pendimethalin in model samples of drinking water by DPV with LQ around 5×10-7 mol L-1.
