Determination of Cr(VI) and Cr(III) by FIA Method after Oxidation of Cr(III) by KIO4

Abstrakt

The spectrophotometric FIA procedures based on classical diphenylcarbazide method for the determination of Cr(VI) and total Cr or Cr(III) were developed by testing KIO₄ as a new oxidation agent. The detection limits for Cr(VI) and Cr(III) were 0.02 and 0.19 mg.l^-1, respectively. Frequency of determinations is 48 and 32 samples in hour, respectively.
