The Role of Analytical Chemistry in Contemporary Science and Practice

Abstrakt

The present state of science is briefly characterized and the definition of analytical chemistry is tentatively formulated. The principal tasks of analytical chemistry in research, technology, and everyday life are discussed. Some important approaches to the solution of analytical problems are pointed out and illustrated on specific examples.
