Review of Analytical Methods of Determination of Polyether Antibiotics

Abstrakt

A review is presented on the current state of analytical techniques used for determination of significant veterinary polyether antibiotics (salinomycin, narasin, monensin and lasalocid) in various matrices by spectrophotometric, microbiological, enzyme-immobilized immunosorbent and chromatographic methods. In particular high-performance liquid chromatography is discussed with special emphasis on various detection methods for these antibiotics.
