Abstract

This contribution summarizes the history and development of X-ray diffraction analysis of solids in the above mentioned institution. Examples of recent applications of X-ray diffraction analysis as a tool for structure characterisation of intermediates in enantioselective metal-catalysed reactions and in studies of crystalline materials for non¬linear-optics applications are also presented.
