Conductometric Analysis of Water Glass

Abstract

An analytical method for determination of water glass composition by conductometric titration with HCl was developed and verified. The content of alkalis was determined by direct titration with a HCl solution; the SiO2 content by titration after addition of a carbonate-free sodium hydroxide solution.
