Abstract

Thermoplastic vulcanizates, dispersions of fully vulcanized rubber in a thermoplastic matrix, are a young but already widely used group of thermoplastic elastomers. Although a special mixing process is needed for their production, their processing is easy. Thermoplastic vulcanizates show properties suitable for various applications.
