Abstract

On-line preconcentration was used to get better UV detection limits in capillary electrophoresis. The sweeping effect in micellar electrokinetic chromatography was used to detect trace amounts of the biologically active group of anthracyclines in model samples. The improved sweeping preconcentration technique provides for excellent detection limits decreasing down to concentration 10-9 mol.l-1.
