Abstract

Terrestrial plants directly interact with soil, water and atmospheric parts of the environment; all these components can become a source of contamination with nanoparticles. This review presents data on the effect of nanoparticles on vascular plants. The impact of nanoparticles on plants varies depending on their nature, size, structure, chemical composition, surface properties and also their amount. The action of nanoparticles also depends on the plant species.
