Use of Some Biological Samples for Determination of Content of Trace Amounts of Metals in Human Body by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

Abstract

The contents of iron, zinc, chromium and cadmium in human hair and nails was determined by AAS. Statistical processing of the data showed a dependence of the contents on the sex and age of the tested people. Correlations between some of the monitored metals and the used biological material were found.
